About Us Chameleon Instruments is the trading name of the bamboo saxophone-making company that was formerly called "Le bambou-sax". Manufactured in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland, these instruments have been exhibited and demonstrated in many parts of the world.
Making A Purchase Purchasing these instruments could not be easier. Just browse our instruments pages, click on any items that you wish to buy, and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "View cart" and then on "checkout." You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept all major credit card payments, PayPal and Twins. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency at the current rate.
Shipping And Handling All instruments sent to European adresses will be charged with a flat rate:
sFr. 4,90 for Orders that are sent by Letter
sFr. 18,00 for all other Orders
Important Delivery Information We deliver worldwide. Please ensure that you provide your full address, including the postal code and country code. We cannot be held responsible for goods that are not delivered because the address is incorrect.
Your goods will be dispatched on the next working day after your order arrives, unless we do not have the selected items on stock. We will provide the items as soon as we can and will tell you how long the wait will be.
For shipping, we cannot guarantee the arrival times of the goods but below is an approximate indication as to how long it will take:
For UK addresses allow 6 to 7 working days (i.e. Mondays to Fridays) after dispatch.
For Continental Europe addresses 4 - 5 workings days after dispatch.
Some Items may be out of stock and take some time to be made. The maximum delay should never be more than 3 weeks.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will produce it for you. You will always receive an email with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges International orders may be subject to import tax.
Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. Unless otherwise stated, all goods are fully guaranteed for 12 months and some for as long as 3 years!

Returns Policy The goods must be returned safely at the customer's cost, with their original packaging, in brand new, unused condition. We recommend that any returns are made by using a national courier service with full insurance in case of loss or damage. Please contact chameleoninstruments@yahoo.co.uk should you wish to return an instrument. Only instruments purchased from www.bamboosaxophone.com within the last month and which are in 100% new (resellable) condition will be considered. A 7,00 Euro re-stocking fee is charged on all returned goods.
